Edison Twp. Public School's 2nd Annual RISE Student Leadership Conference was held today at Middlesex College. Students from Edison's 6 secondary schools hosted sessions with this year's mission to Amplify, Impact, and Inspire Change. JPS students led 5 breakout sessions throughout the day and the keynote address was delivered by our very own Dr. Kim. Thank you to JPS alumna Dr. Patel for running the conference. As we approach the final stretch of the school year, the district has two unused emergency days remaining. Provided there are no unexpected school closures, we’ll be observing these dates as days off on: Monday, April 21, 2025 Friday, May 23, 2025 We hope these days provide our students and staff with a bit of extra rest as we begin the fourth marking period. Congratulations to the John P Stevens robotics team the Warhawks who competed at Seneca High School this past weekend. With a record of 11-1, the Warhawks advanced all the way to the finals ending up with a 2nd place finish! The Warhawks were also presented with the Quality Award for the design and reliability of their robot. The team will compete at Warminster PA at the end of the month and at the FIRST Mid-Atlantic District Championship in April at Lehigh University. In addition, Jahnavi Singh was named a Deans List Finalist and will also be competing at Lehigh. Congratulations to Mr Kearney and all of the members of The Warhawks!
