Exciting News from the John P. Stevens HS Band Program!
On Thursday evening, March 20th, at the CJMEA Region Concert Band Festival in Monroe Township, the John P. Stevens Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band both earned Gold Ratings!
As a result of their exemplary performance, the Wind Ensemble was awarded top honors among 40 band performances across Central Jersey. They will now represent Region 2 at this year’s Evening State Gala Festival, a prestigious event showcasing the top 6 ensembles from across the entire state. Congratulations to all musicians on this outstanding achievement!
Adding to the celebration, the NJ Jazz Educators Association has selected the Jazz Ensemble and Lab Jazz Band to both compete in the 2025 NJ State Finals!
